What is NESA XSIGNAL®?
NESA XSIGNAL® is a non-invasive neuromodulation medical device that uses low-intensity, low-frequency microcurrents to regulate the autonomic nervous system (ANS). This system is responsible for controlling involuntary body functions such as heart rate, digestion and breathing. The device generates imperceptible electrical impulses that, when applied through electrodes placed on the hands and feet, seek to reestablish the balance of the ANS without causing pain or discomfort to the patient.
Device operation
Treatment with NESA XSIGNAL® is performed by placing gloves and anklets equipped with electrodes, in addition to a directional electrode that concentrates the electrical impulses in specific areas according to the patient’s needs. Sessions usually last between 45 and 90 minutes, during which the patient remains in a comfortable position, allowing the microcurrents to act effectively.
